Bouncing Boy did walk down the aisle at Wizard con in Columbus. The costume was absolutely perfect; he looked exactly like the character in the comics. He explained he wanted to come in costume and felt Bouncing Boy was a perfect fit. He said he would look silly as Spider-Man.

Wouldn't ya know it. There was a guy (aapold.theleagueofheroes) at Dragon*Con this year doing Mordru, and we all missed each other. D'oh!

Here's a shot he linked to over on the League of Heroes. Remember to invite him to any future Legion gatherings at D8C or Megacon (the two he mentioned).

Note the captive Mon-El, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad in a mystic sphere (does that count as a Legion group shot? )!

Sensor Girl

Sensor Girl has been on my list for a while, so when there was a call out for a Legion photoshoot, it gave me a reason to knock it out :)

The suit is red, black and white spandex. The cape is red crepe satin with a golden yellow stretch satin lining. I used the same yellow to cover the belt (wonderflex) and buttons. The gloves and boot tops are made of a fabulous thin stretch pleather I found, and then NuLifed (as the base color was more of an off-white).

The mask is wonderflex, coated with spackle and sanded, and then covered with spandex. I used a hockey mask to get the form right. There's a silly set up for the mask -- there's a white spandex hood underneath, then a wonderflex "cap" that's velcro'd on top of that. The mask is light enough to be supported by being velcro'd to the front...

I know there are a couple versions of the character. More than one version for Lana and also a version that Lois has worn.

I'll start, here is my friend stephanie as Insect Queen Lana Lang

white cotton shirt (dyed yellow)
shiny black pleather for the logo and belts.
dance trunks for the briefs
foamies for the mask
ribbons tied to a headband for the hairpeice
sequin fabric, shower curtains, and black ribbon for the wings (attached superman-cape style)

Here's a couple shots of me in the Mon-El costume I bought from Bayles1980:

I repurposed my Captain Atom boots and a Superman belt. Plus I sprayed Rustoleum Hammered Gold on the buckle
and the cape "buttons" to tie them together.

Superman X (DC Animated Universe)

For those not familiar with Superman X I have attached a reference pic. He is a clone of Superman from the far future where his "parents" ( a robot called K3NT) fused Superman DNA with Kryptonite in order to create a weapon to fight Imperiax. He existed for only the 2nd season of the LoSH animated series on the WB, and is only a part of the DC Animated Universe.

This costume was comissioned by me and built to my specifications by Century Costumes of Orlando Florida
