Well, I debuted this costume last year at Armageddon Sydney, and wore it again for Supanova as well. I'm pretty pleased with how it wound up turning out. The suit itself is from Rivers Edge Dancewear, the 'S' is from Lorbonray, the belt I got from Heroes in Tights, and the rest I made at home. I tried to be a bit clever with the cape, using a harness with hooks attached so that I could put on the harness, put on the bodysuit and then put on the cape. It worked, but my harness wound up being pretty mediocre, and I redid it more in line with Brian's (greenarrowfl) tutorial. The boots turned out OK, but I think I can do better. I not just have to work out how.

Anyway, my camera is very bad at focusing, and the flash can make me look awful, but this is probably my best and favourite shot.

Here is my first superhero costume in decades. The base tights are Eastbay compression tights, the trunks are wrestling trunks with belt loops added. I made the belt out of scrap leather and a buckle off eBay. The boots are from cosplayfun on eBay. The "S" shield was made from vinyl and superglued to the shirt, and the cape was made from poly garbadine following GreenArrowFL's tutorial, with the back "S" from a patch purchased on eBay.

I'm playing catchup on a lot of threads, so forgive my lateness. But this shot is effin fantastic! How did you pull this off? Obviously it's a mid-jump shot, but was it from the ground or off a fixture (like a chair, planter, etc) behind you?

Bryan, its good to see you back on here man!

Personally, I prefer the longer cape, since it makes him look more regal. But I love the versatility of the suits.

Also, Cyn made a profile, but never came back. Get her to post Huntress, Lois, and the others!

Here is a fun photoshoot I did a few weeks back. You can sort of see my new cape in it. The blue suit is the same one I've had since D*Con. It just looks darker because of the lighting.
