hmmm. how tall are you Hero? You're going to need stilts, which I think can be hid, but your knees aren't going to be where Darkseid's are. My knees are in the middle of Sasquatch's thighs- but I'm using fur and you can fudge it a little more. You'll probably need about 18" painter's stilts if I'm guessing correctly. Will this suit be out of foam? how will you get the stone/skin look? light up eyes?

See above, I estimated her as tall as I could imagine, because I wanted to know the tallest Darkseid could possibly be. When I came up with 7'8", I stopped estimating, because I didn't want him shorter than that accurate or not.

I'd have disagree with Supergirl's height. She's never taller than Superman even in heels and he's 6'3"-4"

Ok, ok, the actual height of Darkseid is up for debate, and it probably has a half dozen different versions depending on which comic you are reading. I based my 7'8" estimate based on the scale of the art drawn my Michael Turner (yes, everything I do is his). I'll pose my pics up when I start my own thread (so as not to take up TOO much space in this one). I'm assuming Supergirl is 6' and 6'4" in her heels. That is pretty tall, but otherwise, Darkseid would be shorter.

*tosses in two pennies* According to comicvine, Darkseid's 8'9". I swear I also saw a source that said he was 10'.

I'm thinking about bringing this back next year with a few improvements. We're also thinking about getting a "Giants of the Comics Universe" photoshoot with me as Sasquatch, Alfie as the Hulk, perhaps Beau as Gorilla Grodd, Aaron as Kilowagg, and perhaps even a Sentinel. If you did a massive Darkseid, that would be AWESOME.

By similar proportions, do you mean 8 1/2 feet tall too? Btw, feel free to PM me for my cell number and I'll help out as much as I can.

Really awesome man, It's too bad I never got a chance to see it in person at D*Con. Do you have a progress thread? I plan on building a Darkseid of similar proportions for next year, so I'd love to pick your brain about it.
