I don't remember who I purchased this from, I found on through ebay about 6 years ago.

It really didn't have a debut until September 09 at a Big Brother Big Sister picnic, and then only for about 30 minutes. I wanted to show it to the other superheroes that were there; until then, I was in my Stormtrooper armor.

I consider the major debut to be this past weekend, Sat Oct 10, 2009, at our local Boy Scout Camporee. The selected theme this year was Superheroes, so I felt it was appropriate. The temperature was hovering around the freezing mark and it had snowed an inch the night before. I was wearing two layers underneath in an attempt to stay warm; when there was no wind - I was just fine.

The original sole was lycra, and I knew I needed something more durable, so I found a pair of aquasox, opened the bottom of the spandex, and sewed the shoes onto the bottoms. This suit works great for appearances, but would probably not work well for a con. The entry point is 2 zippers along the inseams. I wore it for almost 3 hours and found the suit to be quite comfortable. I only have three pictures, but you can see some wrinkles / fabric folds. The lycra slides better against skin than it did against the suit underneath. I probably should have worn something that was a bit more slippery to prevent the fabric from bunching up.

Personally, I would love a red/blue spiderman suit, but I need to work out and build some muscle definition and lose about 20 pounds; I recently joined our YMCA and have been trying to swim about 3 times a week. I'm planning on adding some weight training soon as well. (If anyone has any great workout plans, send me an email or pm - thanks.)
