[This is in refererence to a conversation we had in person, folks] Season 1, Episode 3 (the one with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo) has that short live action bit. Right after mentioning "product placement" there is an extended live action sequence with a Can of Tab costume. And I agree with you: Love the shoes, Hate the wings. But -- the Season 1 DVD has an additional Extra.... on Disc 2, there is an unused "Live Action Opening" using the same costume. There is also a fictional live action "Feature Film Trailer" using the same footage as the opening, with a couple extra bits cut in. And I am now putting Season 2 in the DVD player... - - - - - - - - The following notes are for my own reference for costuming plans: -- In addition to the mask and the wings, the CARTOON Harvey wears a dark grey suit, off-white shirt, red tie and yellow shoes. -- Potential Harvey props: Briefcase; Avenger resignation letter; Cookie on dowel(!); Envelope from Peter Potamus; .... -- Best screen shots for an X The Eliminator costume: Season 1, first episode of Disc 2; episode starts with artwork of character from original series. - Jeff Last Edited By: SkrullLantern 07/12/10 10:39. Dragoncon is approaching rapidly, and I am running out of time to make costumes from scratch... I must concentrate on the priority list. The costume is still a "Go," but I am cutting the corners by acquiring a pre-made mask. At least he will have the costume for Dragoncon... - Jeff

Remove this ad Knowing that the mask and wings would arrive any day now, I ran by Goodwill this afternoon and found a reasonable suit jacket and trousers that I think will fit my son (waiting for him to get home). Three hours later, UPS dropped off the package! The costume is a "Go"! That is the mask fresh out of the package. You can see that it needs to "heal" from being folded and stored flat for so long. When we put it all together, I will post a new photo. We need to find a good tie, shirt, shoes and briefcase. - Jeff

I found this wandering Birdgirl -- Here's a shot of my son, Will, as Harvey Birdman -- And another one for good measure -- A particular highlight of the Con for Will was when a person complimented him on his Birdman costume.
