Posts: 2098 07/03/11 9:55 Decorative & Functional Co-Administrator of The SCF Most Epic Female Costume of 2011	Adding the Silver Age Cheetah/Deborah Domaine costume that I made for my friend SataNicole for HeroesCon 2011, her first time cosplaying outside of Halloween. In a lot of ways I consider it a success because there were no fittings and it fit like a dream, so that was a win because I've has a couple of long distance commissions that have failed miserably, so I really stay away from any that aren't Charlotte based.. The fabric paint I ordered didn't arrive in time so I ended up just using craft paint, which even though it cracked, added a texture that was almost hair-like. Suit is goldenrod spandex, cut and adapted from the KwikSew 3052 (flipped zipper to the back on view A, added a V neck) and handpainted . The boots were found on eBay, and covered and painted (as it was her first time cosplaying, I wanted the height but didn't want to kill her feet with heels, so went with a wedge). I was hoping to make it a removable bootcover, so she could use the boots everyday as well, but it didn't work out that way. But she had a blast playing a villain (it suits her personality!) and she had fun thwaping people with her tail. :)
