I was actually in one of the proto-versions of this suit when Allen came up to me in the check-in line at DragonCon and ordered me to get on the League of
Heroes.
So to break it down:
The cowl is a custom Reevz hood (www.reevz666.com), done off a head cast of my freakishly large head.
The armor was fashioned out of 900 or so foamies, sewed and glued to a way-too-small t-shirt, and washed twice with acrylic paint. First navy blue, then a 50/50 mix of aluminum and water. Then sealed with a flat coat.
The shirt under the armor is a custom made bike shirt made from Lycra swimsuit material.
The gloves are reproduction WWII RAF aviator's gloves.
The boots are lineman's boots, which can be picked up at most army/navy stores, or via the internet.
The belt is a WWII BAR gunner's belt.
The shield was custom painted from a sled picked up on Amazon. (although I'm planning a major shield upgrade this year).
This is the "Ultimates" version of cap, but I'm also planning on a regular universe one of him to be unveiled this year.
