Since Thom hasn't shown this great suit off yet, I'll do it for him

The characters are photoshopped into the same background, but no- that's the real character and yes, a DAMN good prosthetic.

Man, Brian really outdid himself on Thom's suit. Magnificent piece of art right there.
And I think that one fighting Ned at Dragon Con did brilliantly as well. |

Agreed! I love Thom's suit, and I love the makeup job on the DCon one! The way he used his hair to fudge the giant widows peak is great!
has anyone thought of doing a pre-renegade, Green Lantern Sinestro? That would be really cool! |

It was AWESOME running into both Thom and the other Sinestro (name escapes me now, not a regular) at Dragon*Con. Sinestro's one of my favorite villains.
Few people do the character, even fewer do it well.
I just HAPPENED to be Hal Jordan that day and was so lucky to bump into them.

Came accross the source of the prosthetic Sinestro forhead!
I emailed them asking if I could get one, but they said they couldn't sell it to a non- DC licsensee without permission. Any ideas? |

do you have a picture of the appliance? I'm just curious to see what it looks like.

Did you explain that you were simply asking about the forehead appliance, and not the entire costume Aaron? I don't think DC has a copyright on large
foreheads.

hm, true.... although wouldn't they have been able to get exclusive rights to it if it was a custom commission?

Only if Six Flags/DC wrote that into their contract - doesn't hurt to ask?

just got the reply:
"This is not a generic large forehead prosthetic. We sculpted it to match their specific artwork as well as painted to match specific pantone colors and hair style. Do you need a large forehead prosthetic to portray a character other than Sinestro? Mike" what do you guys think? |
