Dragoncon 2008 was my second Dragoncon and my first foray into costuming. I went with three of my friends, one who had never been and two who had been before.
None of us had done costuming before this so cut me some slack if they look cheap.
- The hoods were commissioned. We're looking to make new ones with actual lenses. The mesh eyes sucked bad.
- Shirts and pants were sewn by my mother with cheap fabric found at some fabric store. Probably would have went with something a tad higher quality and price but it was the closest we could find to the mask color, so went with it.
- Gloves are kitchen gloves. Last minute decision, haha. I think they worked out fine other than the swamps that manifested inside them.
- Boots were spraypainted and started cracking quickly. Couldnt find any other reasonably priced way to get yellow boots. Still trying to find a remedy for this if anyone can suggest anything.
- Belts are rubber Batman costume utility belts.
Im the shortest one by the way. With the pistol.
