We're all proud of our kids, and this way we can show off the children of The SCF in just one place. (& we'll have just one place to go "aaahhhh" ) (But Man, "The Children of The SCF" sounds like a horror movie, doesn't it?) Thanks everyone! And I look forward to seeing pics of all the kiddies! You haven't met our kids, have you? Here's mine. All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder Batgirl. Mask -Latex mold builder backed with hot glue and self stick felt. Cape - Satin Cape clip - Hot glue with a pin from a bead jewelry making kit. Bodysuit - Black unitard. Stiching hand painted. Bat emblem - pleather Belt -Latex mold builder backed with hot glue. Hooks fasten in the back. Gloves - White costume gloves dyed with pleather gauntlets Earrings and belly chain. Charms sculpted from clay, molded with plaster of paris and cast with hot glue. Earrings have a stud post glued into a Bat Charm with other charms hanging from the wings. Chain is from Home Depot wit a charm added every few inches. Boots - (Child's) Go Go 300 with foamies Bat tops. Posts: 116 05/20/09 11:31	Cleo, 2 years old as Wonder Tot, made by my wife-- Swim suit bottom WW Logo made from felt and sewn onto a red onsie Silver spandex bracelets Felt belt Baby 7 of 9 Silver spandex, made by my wife. Baby Borg I made my costume, and my wife made Cleo's basically the same way-- sewing old toys and tubing onto a black turtleneck, black pants, and black snow boots. Cleo was almost 3, and we knew any facial impants applied with sprit gum would come right off, so we used child-safe makeup around her left eye and on her right cheek.

Posts: 36 05/21/09 12:25	I made this for my 3 year old son a few weeks ago. I found some kid's lacrosse armor and some rain boots at a thrift store, then for the gauntlets I found soccer shin guards at the $.99 store. I cut up an old rubber floor mat for the sculted parts on the armor then Plasti-dipped. The belt is an old leather belt that I don't use anymore, with a Batman keychain glued to the front, then all sprayed gold with a dusting of black on top.The cape is just some pleather I had lying arround from a cape I was going to make. I spent about 14 bucks on it total, including Plasti-dip. He likes it, and seems to really want to wear it out in public. I told him in due time, hopefully we will finally go to a con soon. Posts: 3 05/30/09 11:28	About 50/50. It started out as a bear, but I modified the ears, then added the tail, collar and Scooby logo dogtag. I got really lucky on the dogtag; Dollar General had a display of character keyrings, and I found this metal tag as well as a superman "S" shield tag that worked great for my white lab's Krypto costume.
