Starhawk/Aleta Ogord (later costume)
I'll be honest - if you blinked, you missed me in this on for DragonCon 2010. I was only in it for about an hour and half before I had to change for the Magically Inclined group. I really thought she would make it out again later n the weekend, but no such luck!
Gold stretch PVC and black stretch velvet that shed glitter like whoa (I'm still vacuuming it up). It's tough to see in the picture, but there are added rhinestones and glitter explosions that I added as well. Oh nad there are boobs sewn in, cuz lawd knows I ain't got enough to be that cosmic! And yes, I am taped in like nobody's business!
I literally came across this cover in a quarter bin at a local comic show and went "oh, pretty!"and figured I could whip it up in no time. But the stretch PVC and the stretch velvet have 2 entirely different degrees of stretch, so was a constant process of taking it in and taking it in...gah!
But this was Spider's Obscure Character for 2010 :)
