One of the ones I'd like to do when I get the current crop finished. Love this suit.

That would be my friend Rob :) He loved the costume, but hated the mask by the end of it.

Why'd he hate it? Was it one of those see through horror masks? I know exactly how I want to make mine, but this will definitely help me make some
decisions. Tell Rob it's a great costume.

The heat, moist mouth area and the eyes weren't as see-through as he would have liked.
But yeah, it's one of my faves for him :) |

Man. I took that picture in 2006 and Rob's wife found it on my Flickr. She asked if she could save it and I said "Of course!" Then he entered the
Marvel costume contest and ever since that picture has been all over the Internet! Ha ha! I'm still surprised to see it pop up places. Just a snap shot!

A. Its a great costume
B. Its a much loved character C. It's a sparsely tried costume of course it makes the rounds! I have some ideas on how I want to do it and I'll be taking some cues from that pic for sure. |

Hey all. Yeah, the Moon Knight costume. My crown jewel and the bane of my existance. It looked great but to date I don't think I've had another costume
that was more uncomfortable to wear. Looking back on it there's probably a lot that could have been changed with it.
1. The bodysuit was a size too small so I couldn't zip it up in the back without feeling like I was being squished from all angles. 2. The cloak was gorgeous with shimmering silver material, but it was heavy and consequently very hot. 3. The mask wasn't made from the typical halloween "black mask" material. It was something thicker that allowed the silver eyes to be sewn on and allowed for a velcro strip to be attached on top to keep the hood from slipping off. The mask just wasn't meant for mouth breathing, but overall the costume was pretty hot so nose breathing didn't work well after a while. So after 20 minutes there was a lot of condensation at the bottom half of the mask and it would get unpleasant. Really the other things were minor that could have been easily dealt with, but the mask was kind of the dealbreaker and why I retired it. The costume now resides with a friend of mine and is need of some minor repair - some of the leather bands on the boots and gloves started to peel off but could easily be repaired with the right glue. All that being said the costume was outstanding though. The guy who made most of it, Kelly Delcrambe (I've butchered the last name) did a fantastic job. |

Heya Miss DJ!!
I do regret giving away the costume. If I had it back (and I may see if I can get it again) I'd like to go ahead and just destroy it. Moon Knight is always getting his ass kicked so I'd like to just have a shredded version of this costume full of holes and blood marks. Probably be the most accurate version ever. |

He replied before I had a chance to, but yeah... MOONKNIGHT! Kelly Delcambre is his name (KMD Theatrics. many of you pros know who he is). He may be lurking on
this board. Moonknight is THE costume for Rob, and while I understand his annoyances with it, he DID look good. Like Billy Crystal says.. it's better to
LOOK good than to FEEL good...

That's my philosophy. I'm yet to be comfortable in ANY costume.

Sadly, Kelly has stepped away from Costuming to focus more on his art, from what I understand. But it doesn't surprise me one bit to find out he was
responsible for a lot of this amazing costume. Best Moon Knight EVER.
I love the perfect shape of the top of the hood- brilliant. Was it stuffed or something? Or just sewn to pop up perfectly like that? And welcome again to The SCF! Allen |

The hood had some very light stuffing in it to help maintain the shape. Also, it was a separate piece from the cloak. It had multiple buttons that would snap
it into place along the top of the cloak. Because of that it isn't weighed down by the rest of the cloack and can keep the shape.
