Alrighty, so here's the first part of my tutorial for anyone that's interested in putting together a SHIELD Agent suit (at least, one that matches ours).
I've labeled where most of the items come from, but here's a bit more description...
The 5.11 tac suits came from our local army surplus store, which I suppose most people should be able to find. They are also available online.
All of the nylon straps and clasps came are available at Joan's and I also saw the same thing at other local stores, so I suppose that should be easily available.
The images that I put up here are for how I put together my suit, and others in the group did things slightly differently, all following the same basic pattern though. Additional pouches and such were done per personal preference. All of the basic designs for pouches and holsters were based on what was available at the local army surplus, we just made them in white.
We picked up the patches at D*C and didn't have them until the 2nd year. I imagine that they are available online, but we put them on in our room at the con.
Of note for anyone that hasn't worked with nylon straps before, finish cut ends by melting them with a lighter.
Finally, all of the badges were cast from a mold that I made. I'm willing to cast more and send some off to people that are interested. I can add a quick tutorial on how I painted them up with the exact colors, but I'll have to cast and paint another one to make sure I get the color match right (post the names of the exact paints).

I'm putting these here because I can't think of a better place to put it, but if others want to write similar things on costuming topics (which I think would be hugely helpful to me), perhaps a tutorials forum?
Oh, and I think that the Michigan chapter of SHIELD is somehow affiliated with the Detroit Tigers

And finally, the registration forms we were passing out a couple of years ago. They were used essentially to invite super heroes to a photo shoot that year.
