Thanks Allen.

Yeah so The Demon Etrigan. I decided to do Etrigan because I wanted my girlfriend to do Zatanna. So I sat down and went through magical Dc characters to find someone to go along with her. I decided on Etrigan. There haven't been very man other Etrigans done. And I wanted to do a full latex mask from start to finish on my own. I had lots of help when I did the Gunwitch mask. He still needs work. I would change the muscle legs first. They are kind of dumpy.

As some of you may know. I competed with Etrigan in 2008 at SDCC in the Masquerade. I made the terrible mistake of entering a Masquerade with just a costume. I knew I had no hope of placing overall but thought I might at least win the DC prize. Here is the video of me being laughed at by 1000s of people because I was the only entry without a song and dance. I was beaten out by a little girl in a Wonder Woman outfit with a lasso act.

okay here are some WIP pics.

Here is the sculpt with the metal flashing for the mold separation. Much thanks to Chris Brown and Chris Donio for all of the help and advice.



Here we are out of the mold, I went ahead and mixed in the yellow paint with the latex so that the mask itself had the base color I wanted.


The mask painted. I decided to leave the teeth out of the sculpt because I knew they would create a terrible undercut problem in the mold.


So here are all of the little hand sculpted teeth, I made them from close cell.






Here is the muscle suit. Some of you will notice that it is built in the same style that I used to create Allen's Sasquatch suit. On a MUCH smaller scale of course.
