Thought I'd add my Nick Fury costume to the awesome set of heroes here:
I didn't really have any pictures of me by myself so I thought I'd post an appropriate picture: I'm the one with the facial hair.

I dressed up last year as Nick Fury also :(pic here) But I only spent a few weeks putting it all together and I started to fall apart during the con.
This time I spent the entire year gathering all the pieces for a revised costume, But I still ended up only finishing the costume a few days before the con. But at least this time all the pieces were higher quality so they stayed together.
Patches: Are actually part of a jacket I had a company in Pennsylvania make for me so I could wear it
outside of the con. The jacket is made of Twil and the patches are costume made out of leather. Unfortunately they screwed up the jacket the first time,
and had to make a second one which didn't get to me until a week before con, but as it turned out, that one was also screwed up and I had to take it to
a tailor to get it fixed and finished by just a few days before the begining of the con. Came out looking like I planned, but I still can't move my
arms very far
The Utility belt and pouches I had a friend of mine sow together, last year I used a hot glue gun and vynll and that didn't hold very well, so she made me some new pouches that not only looked good, but were functional. My girlfriend had lip gloss and stuff all up in my stuff...
The Gloves are a combination of left over straps, shin guards and golfing gloves with stickers on them
The gun holster I made out of paper mache, over a wire frame, and then covered with vynll.
The eye patch I got at a costume store, and the facial hair I got from my face.

Also, I had to create the logo by hand because the guys who made my jacket needed a vector file of it in order to make it look exact, so if anyone ever needs any sort of sheild related items, I have high quality EPS and Ai files if you need them
