Our friend Joe as Lex at Superman Celebration. He was a good sport because it was sweltering that day, so a bald cap and full on suit is not comfy!
Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the awesome Kryptonite ring we found for $2 on Ebay. I'll have to get that picture another time! ![]() ![]() Had to take that picture because Clark Kent and Lex Luthor sharing fries really cracked me up. and here is an excellent Golden Age/Mad Scientist Lex from the previous year at SC: ![]()

How horrifying -- not the pose or the photo, but the signage. If you are going to create a sign for a major tourist attraction, allegedly written by a (fictional) journalist, at least have someone read it who has command of the English language. "This glowing green metorite is the largest specimen of it's kind known to exist." So, the giant rock is emotionally kind -- is that what they are saying? And what, may I ask, is a "metorite"? It would have taken 2 minutes of proofreading to correct the errors and avoid emnbarassment. IMHO, companies that print huge signs on commission should advise their clients about spelling errors. But -- great pose! I am considering some Lex Luthor impressions for Dragon*con 2010... and these photos are giving me some good ideas. |
