He literally chased me down at the Marvel booth and said "I WROTE YOU!" and then we jumped about and gossiped and got very excited (I don't know who was more surprised to see the other), he pulled me up on the freaking stage and pointed me out to both Matt Fraction and Joe Quesada. Posts: 406 09/23/09 2:35 Not a Skrull Special Agent of The SCF- Photoshop Unit	Time for an update! I brought this costume back for Dragon*con 2009 with some changes to the mask and bracers. I'm sure the mask looks the same to everyone else, but the general shape was really bothering me and I was unhappy with the flimsiness (since I'd rushed through making the SDCC one a day before flying out after I decided at the last minute I hated the one before that.. shoot me). The bracers are also longer and more accurate to Mockingbird's new costume, so I used them for both. I also gained a Hawkeye! Thanks Brian! art blog \|\| Heroes Alliance UK

Posts: 406 09/23/09 2:56 Not a Skrull Special Agent of The SCF- Photoshop Unit	Starting a new post for this one. I take back what I said about needing the new costume to grow on me because now I absolutely love it, and somehow managed to get it together in time for D*con - but not without the enormous help of a certain UKSuperman, and also someone whose name rhymes with "gay fun". Legends, the both of them. Paul made the suit and the belt in record time and I took it from there: adding the buttons, adapting the neckline, making all the other bits and stressing the hell out at midnight the night before my flight. I'm going to rework this a lot and fix all the things that went wrong (the straps on my shinguards broke, the staves fell off the bracers, and I don't like the boots), but it was a total blast to wear. And led to something totally awesome... ...a blurry reunion with Jim McCann! We were tweeting back and forth that day trying to locate each other, and finally met up in a bar at the Hyatt. So we totally had drinks and lots and lots of talking about things I can't actually talk about. Just know there are exciting times ahead! Posts: 805 06/11/10 12:58 I'd say there's plenty to hit. Special Agent of The SCF- Photoshop Unit	Your natural hair is gorgeous!! And I love that classic costume. The boots rule! I finally finished up the new version of the new costume (I know, I know) for HeroesCon. I'll never stop working on it, but I'm so much happier with how this one turned out - I didn't use anything from the first version and used different methods on most things. The suit itself was a collaboration between the lovely Tia and a local seamstress, but everything else was me. twitter
