Posts: 116 05/10/09 10:38	Hal Jordan. The suit is from eBay. I picked up the gloves during Halloween. I'm wearing the promo ring that was distributed with issue #1 of Green Lantern: Mosaic. The mask is a cheapo "Lone Ranger" style mask-- I added some mylar on the inside so my eyes wouldn't show. This is the same battery as the one I made for my Guy Garder outfit, but this photo was taken before I added the stiching hoop as a handle-- I was using some green wire. I've worked on the mask a bit-- this is closer to how it looks in the comics, but not perfect yet: Usually I'll adhere the mask to my face with tape or spirit gum, but I was running late and had my daughter with me (Supergirl), so I just used the elastic to hold it to my face (I know it looks tacky ;-)

The costume pattern was good, but the arms and legs were extremely long. If you want a Green Lantern bodysuit, I recommend looking for another commission. This suit was an older version made by: MartinNDFW Mask by: Xtreme Design FX 3D symbol made out of green foamies and translucent green clipboard from Wal-Mart, white reflective tape from The Home Depot, and glued down with brush-on superglue A Tutorial on how to make you own Power Battery for under $100 can be found here. Posts: 59 05/18/09 11:11	Those are GREAT GLs - and Miko, I think - i.e. guess - you could do a Kilowog by doing mostly an extended jaw/mandible out of micro-cell or something light and lots of prosthetic make-up. Likely a Hal, but id relate better to Kyle being and illustrator myself....but his suits more complex. His suit from The Superman Animated series wasnt bad, but it was more Hal looking. Planning to have it ready by films release at least. I'm always around....
